Part of the Reports series:

A study by PIPS in 2018 identified universities, teachers, and students as among the critical agents that could dilute the epidemic of faith-based persecution of minorities, and improve support for religious freedom in Pakistan. Building on these findings, a countrywide program of sensitizing the Pakistani youth about the significance of interfaith harmony was launched by PIPS. In the first round, five two-day workshops were held in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Swat, and D.I. Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in which students from different KP universities were engaged. Scholars, educationists, writers, rights activists, and senior media persons shared their views on various issues at the workshops. The youth were also surveyed for their views on topics relating to the theme of interfaith harmony in Pakistan. This report contains the details of the workshops and survey findings which gives an insight into the thinking of the youth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
